1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.
When I tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors.
